Employee Benefits & Facilities

We strongly believe that a happy and satisfied employee is a productive employee. All our employees are offered benefits that often exceed industry norms. This includes attractive remunerations packages, medical, insurance and many other perks. In addition, free meals, free uniforms, a fully air-conditioned working environment and a modern canteen facility are provided, while other financial benefits such as encashment of leave for up to 21 days, bonuses, funeral donations and loan facilities are also offered to our employees.

Training

As a Company that continuously strives to produce better systems and procedures for career and talent management as well as employee development, GP Garments invests a significant amount of time, money and effort to ensure that all training requirements of our staff members are met. We strongly believe that highly skilled and trained employees who are motivated, well disciplined, satisfied and committed, will result in higher performance. In order to achieve these objectives, GP Garments has its very own training school designed to develop job skills as well as soft skills of our staff members. Job related training programmes such as the Supervisor Training Programmes conducted by Lecturers of the Clothing Industry Training Institute (CITI) and Leadership/Motivational Training Programs are organized throughout the year, so as to encourage employee motivation, creative thinking, personal growth and career development.

Activities and Welfare

GP Garments strongly believes that extra-curricular activities go a long way in ensuring that our employees remain healthy, motivated and satisfied. We also believe that sports events, entertainment activities, cultural and religious ceremonies enhance team spirit and increase workplace cooperation. We organize weekly free doctor consultations and regular eye-care campaigns to ensure that all the employees are fit and healthy. Cricket, Badminton, Netball tournaments, dancing, drawing, poetry competitions, Pirith chanting are held annually to keep everyone encouraged and motivated.
